The environmental industry’s standout event of the year....

On the 12th and 13th of October representative from environmental organisations will brandish their free tickets and funnel into the Excel London conference centre to share their innovations and insight at the standout event in the environmental industry’s calendar – the Contamination Expo Series. The show combines six exhibitions in one, with guests able to filter between the Land Remediation Expo, Hazardous Materials Expo, Spill Response Expo, Clean Air Technology Expo, Geotechnical Expo, and Nuclear Decommissioning Expo as they please. 

Over the two-day event, those in attendance will benefit from 120 hours of CPD-accredited, free-to-attend seminars, the insight of over 150 innovative exhibitors and unparalleled networking opportunities with visitors from the public and private sectors including practitioners, consultants and academics.  Free tickets for this year’s inaugural event are only available from the Contamination Expo website. Transforming facades with silicone technology

An external wall insulation system is a thermally insulated, protective, decorative cladding procedure involving the use of an insulating material and a render finish. The most common insulating material is polystyrene, others such as mineral wool, polyurethane foam of phenolic foam may be used.  The render finish usually consists of a reinforced basecoat followed by a decorative mineral or synthetic finish.

The K Rend Silicone Thin Coat range is particularly suitable where lightweight render 
systems are required, such as an external wall insulation system (illustrated right).
