Finding the flood protection and prevention solutions is no longer a choice. It’s a necessity. Flood Expo is the largest event of its kind in the world that presents the desperately needed defence measures to the widespread flooding problems that threaten to spiral further out of control.

The devastating floods that hit the UK and parts of Europe this year have raised the importance of having a collective effort in presenting the technology, infrastructure, and research in flood prevention to a heightened level of urgency. Flood Expo provides this opportunity.

This event, winner of the 2015 Exhibition News Awards’ Show Rising Star, has a focus firmly fixed on both solving problems and providing solutions with the purpose of highlighting the new and cost-effective ways of preventing and managing flooding.

If you’re a home, business or land owner situated in a flood-prone area, attending Flood Expo is not something you should do, it’s something you HAVE to do.

Who else will be there?

2,500 business owners, decision makers, property and land owners will be present across both days of the show, providing an unparalleled level of networking opportunities.

What’s going on?

There will be a total of 80 seminars delivered by the foremost experts in the field, 200 exhibitors showcasing cutting edge products and services, live demonstrations, masterclasses, live debates and unparalleled opportunities for networking. The expo will run alongside the brand new Marine & Coastal Civil Engineering Expo on the 12th and 13th of October 2016 at ExCeL, London.

October’s event will also see the Flood Expo introduce their new traffic light system, consisting of three symbols: Rescue, Resilience & Mitigation, together they encapsulate the businesses operating within the flood industry. The symbols will act as a way for visitors to identify who exactly they need to speak with over the two-day event. This will then be rolled out to the whole flood industry and become the industry standard way of identifying businesses and their services.

How do you get to go? Flood Expo is absolutely free to attend. To find out more information on everything that’s happening at the show, simply visit www.thefloodexpo.co.uk.
